Brakes

I'm JR and I am a OEM mechanic that is working on a 47 Ford street rod for a guy with brake problems. I have question.

well, if you add a prop valve you will decrease the amount of preassure going to the rear brakes, that is not what you want to do. I'd start by turning in the ajusters and go from there.

This is not the psychic hotrod network. In order to answer your questions we need some info. How about starting with what type, size, make, of brakes are front and rear as well as the master cylinder.

I agree with Matt, a prop valve is only going to make the problem worse not better. You need to find out if the master cylinder is outputting enough pressure to the rear. Does it have a dual master cylinder? Does it have a prop valve assembly at the master cylinder?

It could be that you have the lines hooked up to the master cyl in reverse.
