Smile Brakes help

Can't get started with my stopping stuff. Ihave a pinto front suspension . And i have a 11" gm disk brake setup from a 75 camaro .I bought the adapter for the caliper. put it on the spindle housing fits fine .BUT the rotor don't slide on far enough to put the nut on .It seemes to go all the way on against the spindle housing . i put the m11 bearing in gm rotor. the spindle shaft is the same length as the gm spindle. But the rotors on the gm is wider [ maybe some one can help me.

Question

Is the hub grease seal the correct one? Did you try to slip it over the spindle before installing it in the hub?

Does the outer bearing fit onto the spindle?

Question

You know...

As I think about it...doesn't this upgrade require the use of a GRANADA 11" rotor with the GM caliper?

Did the people you bought the caliper mounts from say an early CAMARO disc and hub would work? It might have the correct bearings...but the GM hub may have different center to center distances in the bearing/hub mounts.

Just thinking...

<a href="http://www.fatmanfab.com/fm-07.htm" target="_blank">-Fatman Fabrications-</a> calls for a GRANADA rotor and hub.
