brakes and power steering

i have about a 1980 ford (not sure exact year i dont have the title to it) swb 2wd she has been sitting for about 6 years and i got her started but cant take her down the road because i cant bleed the brakes the little tank was completely empty so i put some fluid in her and tried to bleed the brakes nothin came out but when you press the brakes it will come out of the tank could the hose be clogged if so hows a good way to fix this and also the power steering was completely empty so i filled it with fluid but my power steering is still not working can anybody help me with this

vacuum bleeder

You could buy or hire onw of those 'one man' vacuum type brake bleeder units, that may sort out any crap in the pipes.
