Brakes smell bad, is this a problem??

Well it seems everytime i hold the brakes like at a stop sign or to get the mail out of my mailbox when i get out after that i can smell burnt brakes, like someone just did a huge burnout. is this good or what could be going wrong, i mean i stop fine, and it's just like before!!

Something is not right.....
Did you do a recent brake job?
Is the fluid going down in the master cylinder? Leaky wheel cylinder.
After driving it, feel your wheels, are any of them hotter than the rest? If yes, that wheel is sticking on.

i redid the brakes last summer but more recently i redid the drivers wheel cylinder, do you think because one is old it's funking out?, i'll check to see if one is hotter than the others. and i'll check my fluid, i might just have to change the other one which won't be hard at all. i'll check it out tommorow, in auto shop!!!
