Post Breakerless Distributer

I have bought a used breakerless distributer with no instructions as to where the wires go. I have a red wire, a green wire, and a brown wire. Where do they go? Also trying not to be to dumn, does a one wire alternator need to be grounded?

Cool

Here is the link to the <a href="http://www.mrgasket.com/malloryinst.html" target="_blank">Mallory</a> web site. You will need Acrobat Reader to open the PDF's
They have a full line of instructions. Click on #1214 for the Unilite Dist.
Since you are using a used Dist. make sure that you test it before trying to start the vehicle. I just bought a used #4748201 and it has a DEAD module. The #$%^@% thing cost $89.00 for a new module.
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS !!!!!!

Yes, the Alternator needs to be grounded. Most ground themselves but you can add your own ground wire to the back of the alternator housing and engine block!
