Breaking in a gm 350

Im just about ready to fire up my new GM 350. One question: How long after priming the oil pump do I have to get the motor started?

I've always fired mine within a few hours and not had any problems, but I assemble everything with breakin lube too. I think if you fire it within a few hours you'll be fine.
