All I can say is that TH350s seem to grow on trees. Use Searchtempest to search Craigslist in multiple cities. I searched for "TH350" here in northern VA and got a dozen or more cores ranging from $50 to $100. Since all you care about is the main case, even an 4x4 TH350 works for you.

Check you local transmission shops/salvage yards also.JMO
And you need to determine why and what caused your to brake in the first place. IMHO

I'm not aware of any site that you can mail order a plain th350 case. You could try ebay? I have one that would work but shipping would probably be as much as the case itself. I see cores around here for $40-$100.

Completely cut off the broken bell, and use a JW Ultrabell. This gets you a thicker bellhousing, SFI certified for flexplate/converter explosion(if you need the SFI cert for racing), it bolts on to the front pump using longer versions of the bolts that hold the front pump into the case. Only way to save a broken case, you won't even have to disassemble the trans to do the work. Around $220 for the Ultrabell.

Very strong, very common in racing to use these, alot of times even cutting the bell off perfectly good cases when you have an race application that needs the SFI certification. Summit, Jegs, local speed shops etc, can get them for you .

Ultrabell Very good part. I wish i went that route when my bell-housing busted. But NoOoOoOoOo I had to go and find a old bell and switch out the cases. It will be Ultrabell if it ever happens to me again.

That makes me wonder if the t-350 from the drag car is full manual shift? Trans Brake? Reverse shift pattern?

Those items would affect the shifter needed
