Well,
most times, the outermost hole (blue circle) is the one that cracks/breaks off. It's used by
both patterns. But if the black circled hole is the bad one, the mini starter idea will work.
The OP hasn't bothered to reply to any of this, so prollably a moot point.
There are mini starters that have the straight across only or staggered only patterns, as well as mini starters that have two sets of straight across holes to accommodate both diameters of flex/flywheels.
