Broken bolt

I have broken a intake bolt off in the head and it is broken off flush. Any suggestion on how to get it out without removing the head or major surgery. I had dipped the threads in engine oil and it just happened so it should not be stuck in thier too bad.

Greg,
If you broke the bolt when you were torquing the intake...Remove the intake, and you should have enough bolt , sticking out of the head, to grip with a pair of Visegrips. If you broke the bolt even with the top of the head, try to drill it and use an easyout.

take a dremel too, and cut a slot in it, and then take a straight/slotted/whatever screwdriver and get it out. Be careful not to do much to the head.

Your getting good suggestions....

but I would remove the intake and weld on a nut to whats left of the bolt...being careful to weld only to the inside of the nut and old bolt and not the head...Then replace ALL the intake bolts...some others may be ready to break too.
