bucket seat to fit a 1949 chevy pickup

i am looking for some bucket seats from a late model vehicle that will fit my 1949 chevy pickup and look nice and not bucky. also a aftermarket steering column. i know i will have to do some modification but i want them to look nice and not cover the rear window

Ford focus seats may work and the headrests are separate so they can be removed and if you get the ones from a 2dr they tilt forward as well..

I installed seats from an '04 trailblazer in my '52 Chev pickup. Had to modify/Fab mounts for the inboard sides of the seats and will probably remove head rests. Seat belts are built in so thats a plus.

What about the buckets from a Crown Vic Police Interceptor? Would they be too bulky?

Yes, they would probably be too wide to fit in the truck.
