Bucket Seat Frames

I'm in the process of reupholstering a set of bucket seats on my 1964 Impala.
The seat frames are stripped down to the bare metal, there is very little surface rust, I have new springs on order (old ones shot!). Question: I plan on blasting the frames prior to reupholstering, should I coat the frames with something prior to reupholstering or? Anyone have any other ideas or processes? Thanks in advance.....

The rustoleum would not bleed into the fabric. Painting the frames would be fine, but painting the springs would be useless. The paint would crack and falloff as the springs flexed.

There is a product called zero rust. Ive never used it but from what i have heard this stuff is the best against rust it was also spotlighted on trucks the spike tv net work. I would think from what i saw of it that this would work even on the springs but i am not positive.
