Bucket Seat install in 41 Buick

Last night I won two bucket seats for my 41 Buick, they happen to be from a Monte Carlo. I chose these seats because I also own a Monte and I find the seats to be extremely comfortable. The issue that I have been having is the height of the seat base. Even in the Monte they had to build up the seat. No matter what seat I looked at, this always appeared to be the case. Now the floor on the Buick is flat what would be a good way to attach them and still raise them without it become unsightly?

Thanks
Steve

You might want to consider http://www.seatrisers.com/
Then build a cover to go around them to finish them off.

I've never used the product as I've built a base for the seat, mounted the seat tracks to the base and modified the track mount to fit a flat floor. Be sure to use an appropriate fastener system to mount the tracks to the floor, something like Juliano's seat belt and seat mounting plates.
