bucking at 2100
Hi my brothers 96 Chev 4x4 with a 350 engine bucks and missed terribly at about 2100-2300 rpm. Has put a new cap and rotor, changed fuel filter, new gas, etc. Now the check engine light is on. Anybody know what it might be? It has about 110 000 miles. After the 2300 rpm range it smooths out again.

could be a number of things! Start from the ground up, check your ignition voltage, base and advance timing, are your injectors clean? Compression test, And take the thing to Autozone and have them run the code... that might solve it all right there. Could be O2 or EGR... many variables. Did it just start doign it after you did the work to it? If so, check your work, the problem lies within-

Killers got the right idea, I would run the codes first, could save yourself alot of trouble.
