I think you made an excellent start and you were wise to stick with simple, straight lines and corners for your first shot at this. And if I can offer up an opinion without blundering into something offensive, I think you have an ideal base here for something really cool. A "Hot Rod Brinks" A downsized, hopped up, very quick armored car.

In fact, somewhere around here I still have plans for doing something quite similar but it was a Hot Rod UPS Truck. But the same idea. Nice straight lines and corners that would simplify construction, but have it a recognizable facsimile of a popular vehicle, but tricked out with all the normal hot rod influences.

I could just see you project painted up to mimic a Brinks truck on hot rod steroids...and people would go wild. And it would be a very unique rod.

In the photo, I was wondering if the protuberance on the roof is just an errant welding helmet or a port for a roof-mounted, remotely-controlled machine gun

When you uploaded the photos using the Attachment Manager feature you should be able to click on the yellow link that will show up. This should give you a full size picture. Then just right click on the picture to give you a menu and select "copy image location". Then just click on the little yellow icon with the mountains on it and insert the address of the photo you just copied. (You might just be able to right click on the yellow link itself and the "copy"...but I don't know if you'll get the thumbnail or the full size photo.)

Does that make sense, or is that what you did and it didn't work properly? You have all kinds of full size photos in your other threads, did you link to those from you photo gallery?

haha thanks guys i havent though of the brinks idea yet, most people thing of adams fam or something like that. that would be a funny idea though. its been fun, ill try and think of something good to finish it off with

Sometimes I do things on here,And don't remember how I did it,I did get a big picture on there,But It was way to big.Tried to fix it,And don't know what happen. I will give your way a try one day Thanks cboy for the help...

You did a great job for your first.You didn't give up that's what count's to me... But I would give cboy idea a thought.It would sure be Kool and the first one I've ever seen.The UPS was done already. I would love to do a chopped school bus,with a blown big block.I know they already did it, But they can have more then one.. If I ever get my hand's on one ''LOOK OUT''...

ya its a great idea it really got me thinking about that stuff. i was kinda just going to go with a flat black cuz its taking up room in the shop and also i have some other cars and trucks like a 38 ford thats my next one that i wanna spend some more time on. i did this one because of a bet that i coudlnt build a car but and really thinking about the brinks idea now i would love and old 50s short bus ford with a blower that would be sick. keep up the good work really enjoy watching your builds

you can also look at this site if you want to build your own frame, they have about all you'll need to weld up a frame and more!, www.welderseries.com along with a speedway catalog, www.speedwaymotors.com , and ask guestions on here most people on here are very helpfull, and read alot post from here lots infomation on here one the best sites i found in many years!!!, so dare to be different!!, and , i'd rather eat worms than drive an automatic!!! i finnally got it to load my pic, this is my nexted build, it's a Harley Earl car from 1959, that GM destroied it, if you look fenders and haed lights look close to a 1959 and a 1960 cadillac so going to start with a cadillac cowl forward, build my own frame under it and want to use a IRS in the rear, and a 500 or 472 cadillac motor, now i'm looking for a cadillac from 1959 or 1960 to start to cut apart, it's all in what you want to drive!
