Budget paint
 

i am looking for a good place to buy some cheap paint because i dont have a big budget. Also i was wondering what you thought about jet black with candy apple red strips on a 1988 chevy camaro? thanks

Not sure what $ limits you had in mind, but take a look at TGP Global.

Bell helmets used to have an ad campaign that said "If you have a $10 head, wear a $10 helmet". That pretty much applies to automotive paint. The prices on quality automotive paint are strictly controlled. With the exception of SPI products I would be very leery of any "low priced" automotive paint.

I've sprayed their "Hot Rod Flatz" before, pretty impressive flowout and toughness.

Not real sure, but I suspect by Cheap he means very low cost. I have used TPC Global for House of Kolor product, they are a good dealer to do business with.

But

If you simply want paint at the rock botoom price, look on E-bay they have something for that budget.

Any color for less than $100.00 a gallon with activator.
I wouldn't use their enamel, and I don't know about their clear.
But I've used it on my car and boat and it's the toughest stuff
I ever used. It's held up great.

I also clearcoated my car with SPI universal clear.
That's a great combination. :pimp:
