Question Buffing New clear coat

Just got done painting my Cobra last weekend.Turned out good except I have a couple small runs in the clear coat and I got two small spots that are rough( went to fast with the gun and didn't get enough on or held the gun too far away). Can these spots be buffed out or wet sanded. How soon after I clear coated it can I do this .Do I need to polish it to get a shine after removing these blemishes. What product do I use to get rid of these marks? Thanks for any advice you can give. This is my third paint job and other than these two defects it turned out great.

Thumbs up

Wet sand with 1000 if it's a big run, 1500 to 2000 if it's just rough or light orange peel- then buff - I like Griot's out of Wasington, but Meguire's or 3M will do great-- gradually buff with progressively finer polishes and different pads for each different polish and you'll get it "shinin' like a baby's behind" as they say... (if such a thing does indeed shine) clear (if it is thick enough) is VERY forgiving and will sand and buff well. Good Luck!!! IMHO Griot's is the BEST in car care and maintennance at www.griotsgarage.com/index.jsp
