I have to tell you, the thought of going 150 in a Skylark (I have a 65 Gran Sport remember) is absolutely frightening! Not without a LOT of safety equipment, cage, harnesses, etc. And an upgrade on suspension and tires. Like I said 125+ in my buddies Duster comes back to me like a movie scene in my head and it was NOT a fun ride, and I was a stupid teenager with no understanding of life. Now at 54, holy crap does that thought give me chills.
Hahah, I'm glad I got at least one laugh. I'm not proud to admit that I've reached similar speeds in a car that was slightly more modern than that (a fox body) and it was not a pleasant ride either. I'm sure that with today's vehicles it's quite possible, but I really think that once you start crossing 120 mph, you've put your life in the hands of the vehicles aerodynamics.
