Build the garage or finish the car?

OK I have a problem though it's a good problem I guess. I'm working on a 68 Camaro that is currently driveable and not bad looking (from 10 feet ) but it does need paint. My current work space is a one car garage with everything I need except the space to actually work on the car. I have already started on a new motor and have alot of new parts that will be installed.

My question is do I build a new 28' x 44' garage and finish the motor and such in a year or two or do I finish the car this winter and struggle with the lack of space?

Thanks for the advice
Zammer

Yep , finish the garage first.... wouldn't want to make that ride all shiny and have no where to put it
BTW - not a bad predicament to be in

Garage all the way. I have seen too many times something stops you in the middle of a project then it stays outside and by the time you get back to it you have to re do everything you did.

No, No, No...everyone has it wrong.

Build me a garage.

Then you can go finish your garage and then your car.

build it and heat it.

Build the thing and heat at least a section of it. Then when it's cold you don't have to be sitting inside watching crap on TV. You can be in your nice garage wrenching.

re: Build the garage or finish the car?

Garage first - drive the car and have fun while the garage is built - finish the car when you have space, at least then you can work at your leisure while saving more money to finish the car.

re: Build the garage or finish the car?

I'll make it 9-1 in favor of the garage. Although I really like Brian Bs idea. I'm in need of a really nice garage myself.
