Build me up my 350 SB for my S10!!!

I have a 89 Chevy S10 with a 350 SB. I have had minor work done and Iím looking for some guidance. What I know: It has a new Eelbruck carburetor, Eelbruck aluminum high-rise intake, some headers and a B&M ratchet bump shifter. Other than that from what I know itís stock. Goal: ďI want as close as I can get to that 70ís Chevelle sound, I know itís a big block and mine is not AS CLOSE remember.Ē Performance: first off STREET LEGAL, want great get off speed and be able to cruise around with a great sound. It will be drove on streets more than anything, to and from car shows. Donít want to tube or remove finders. I really like the look of the chrome intake with the three red circles but canít afford a blower right now. My price range as of right now is 3K Ė 5K ....ok people that know what they are talking about build me an engine! PS also what kind of rear end and transmission do I need?
Thank you

If you will post these questions in the Transmission and Rearend Thread and maybe even in the Engine Thread, I think you will get more lookers than here of the Newbie Thread.

Roger!

Thanks, I'm new to this. Not just the site but blogging in general. I will try to figure out how to do that.

Thank you
