Lots of parts available for the second strongest passenger car rearend out there (at least the last time I looked - I am getting on in years). IMHO, the Dana 60 is stronger but it is also heavier. And it is not period correct.
thanks for the input guys. i 'm thinkin i'll go with the 9" . i was goining to try and do it on the cheap and just find a rear that would bolt right in. i have a 9" center just have to buy a case. i also have a dana 60 with trac-lok but like redsdad said it weighs a ton.
