Building a 350 Chev with a Cragar blower, does any one have any info or opinions ??

Hi guys,

I am an aussie in Perth. i have added a quick video of the car its second trip out to the track... after much deliberating I have decided to build it as a blown show / burnout car... For those not in the know it is a Holden LH Torana with a 350 chev / toploader / 9 inch and all the fruit.. at the moment the motor is basically stock with edelbrock chrome gear all over it and a RPM air gap manifold and a 750 carb...

I have purchased a Cragar Blower and would like some info from people who know these blowers what setup I should be running as upon taking my motor out to strengthen her a little we have realised the heads need replacing and the bottom end is all new but stock...

I am looking to stay in a mild HP range of 500 - 600 hp and not go all out on the $$$... so far I believe a edelbrock victor Jnr set of heads with roller rockers will do the trick out of the box and I need forged pistons / rings.. and I am not too sure on what spec and brands to go for the rest of the internals...

Much appreciated if anyone could asist.

Cheers

Dave

Does anyone have any info to give on what pistons / cam / chonrods / rings / bearings i should use?

obviously were going for a low compression.. what cam best suits a 6/71 blower? will the original heads be sufficient with new springs / rockers ect...?

Any info would be great.

Cheers
