The edelbrock performer RPM cam needs 10:1+cr a agressive 3500++stall converter and agressive
4.10++ gears.
A friend here has this Edelbrock RPM cam in his 10:1 350 80's camaro with 10" 3500 stall and 4.56's and it actually gets up and goes pretty good. strong 12's at the track on slicks.

But it would not be my first choice. Like wisely said you want to put that fatty 80's era Camaro on a diet.
Every 100lbs you shed off it is 1/10th of a sec off the ET. Especially off the front end of the car.
