just out of curiosity, how much thought have you given this so far? i'm putting a '47 plymouth on a '88 dakota frame, but i didn't come to that decision until about 2 or 3 months into my project. i was going to work with the original frame, then i was going to subframe, then i decided to use a totally different frame. you've got to think of all 3 options and weigh out the pros and cons and $$$ to do each.

my $.02.

Maybe somewhat what Johnnymopar said ,take a good look at your original frame and that of a S-10,how different are they in arch, and wheelbase. To do a complete frame swap, will have to redo body mounts, front clip mounts, probably lenghten or shorten s-10 frame, and also probably redo your floor to lower the body somewhat over the frame, anything is possible,it could be a major undertaking.Took a quick look fatman makes a mustang 11 front clip for olds at $750,plus front end components, you can get aftermarket rear leaf suspension kits, also as mentioned possibly a front clip,at least you'll keep your body mounts and floor.Main thing in thoughts like this is take your time look at all options, what is going to work the best and easiest. HTH.
