Building a car trailer
CBoys thread about the show Rides got me to doing a search for Miller Weldings' '29 Ford pick-em-up. While on there site I found this CHECK IT Plans to build a car hauler. I imagine it will cost a little more than $300 though by the time you are done, but if a person is resourceful enough...Anyways I thought I'd share. OOPS...I forgot to add the second part to finish it. CHECK IT AGAIN

Thanks for posting those links. I may have to modify my existing trailer a bit more to make it closer to that one.

I liked this article, I have the magazine it was in and the only problem with it is that you can't use old mobile home axles for anything anymore. at least in Canada. regardless nice torque style axle ends aren't that expensive. Also I don't know about steel prices where you live but around here they sure make it hard to beat a prebuilt trailer price.

My trailer has those same axles (see my project journal). I priced new 5 bolt axles a while back, and they were around $300 each I believe. For what I haul, I'll live with those axles, I guess.
