Really Burn My butt as well.....

I just wanted to let everyone know,,, It wasn't anyone from this site....Here's the link to what was said about me...
http://tbuckets.lefora.com/2011/04/1...here-to-learn/

Man goes on and on about setting a car up like factory..... Well I never seen a t-bucket set up like factory before... I guess this is going to put speedway and jegs and a bunch of others out of business..... YEA RIGHT...

I was looking at all the SBC weld in mounts that EVERYONE sells,,, And I have to say.... They all looked like factory to me... Give me a break !!!! Yes If you weld a flat plate to the top of your mount it will help hold the weight.... But it's not needed...

I guess if I was to use something like this, The bolt will not hold the weight..

http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Univer...unts,1905.html

And these..
http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Polish...unts,6140.html

and these..

http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Billet...unts,1904.html

Look's like all factory to me..

Maybe he needs to learn a little more about shear strength...

I guess I don't understand the need to get upset about a comment someone makes about your build. You could probably fine any number of rod builders who would disagree about some part of any ones build, doesn't mean they are right or the builder is wrong. As the saying goes...There is more than one way to skin a cat.

The reason I got upset is.. I didn't even see the post until yesterday.... I have been on that site a little while,, But I don't read everything...When I happen to look around... I seen it.... Now me and him talked about it.... I told him I have never had a problem doing it that way for years... It work's !!!! I won't change it...And I had a few cars that could rip the motor right out of them... But DIDN'T !!!

So he goes makes a post of it to try in make me look bad.... That's what pi**** me off...If I tell you I like what I do... Leave it at that.... Don't try to make me look bad in front of the world....Just go do a little looking around.... He's the king on that site... Don't take long to figure out what happen when I walked in.... I'm Not looking to be the king.... That's not my way of thinking...But I don't bow down to no one !!!!.. (only God)

I will hear what anyone has to say, And If I think it's better,, I will do it..

C-Cab

Randy My first post to you I said I knew you could build cars. You have never done a thing, for me to change my mind. You might have done things that maybe I would have done something different, but it was your car, your build, your thoughts in what you wanted.

I am only one person out of many that have followed your builds, some might say why don't you do this or that, but only when you ask. I think on this build I have said something twice, one was more of a question, and the other was I said why don't you do this, and you told me you were, that I was getting ahead of you.

As far as I can tell you build super cars, that are safe, nice looking, and you don't take years to do one. Let others say what they want, you have many people here that like your work and follow your builds. Plus you are one of the nicest and caring people on here.

randy , now you know why most of the builders have stopped posting progress on projects . i've had the same smart *** remarks made about my tubular motor mounts. factory has absolutely nothing to do with it. do they really believe a car that see maybe 4k miles a year at most needs the same engineering as a daily driver ? ignore a poser like that. he bought his mounts with a kit most likely and they had the little flats on them .
you need the correct jewelry to wear guy.
