C-Cab

If we all built them like the factory, why rebuild them? I thought that was the whole idea of this part of the hobby change what the factory built. Henry never wanted a big chebby engine in his Motel T either, if he did he would have built it that way.

I also want to say... I didn't post any of this to put down Mr.Ted in anyway at all...It's not my way of doing things to someone.. I guess I had to kick my feet a little....

Just was a little disappointed to read something like this about me...And then to hear everyone else make there little comments.... That really didn't even know what me and him had to say to each other...

i have seen 800 hp held in the frame with a hose clamp . if it's bad enough to break a 1 in braided strap it's too much for the car.

You are WAY to sensitive Randy. I will go back and look at that post and I am sure I'll see it more as you do. But honestly with this last post to me, you are way to sensitive. We are just a bunch of guys standing around in a garage bsing. If you were out in your garage with us all there and someone said walked in and said what I just did you wouldn't react the same. But here in this garage people sit and stare at the words and make more out of them than what is really there. It isn't that big of a deal. And I can say that EVEN IF I haven't in the past, I can still say, it isn't that big of a deal.

Ahhhhhh, he makes you look bad. Randy, because ONE person says something, everyone reading that isn't going to think the same thing. JUST that ONE person is going to be thinking less of you. They are going to be thinking less of you whether you defend yourself, whether you explain your position with blue prints and written backing of a list of degreed engineers, that ONE guy will still think you are wrong. No one else will, all the others watching that cool build will not see it the way that one guy sees it.

Explain yourself so the OTHERS reading it know why you did it the way you did and that is all you can do.

All the other guys in the garage think it's cool and what you are doing is special, that one guy can stand there and look stupid.

You are who creates what the worlds sees of you, no one else. Your building of that car laid out as you have says MILES more than a comment by a poster.

Sorry should have said more, was kinda on the way out the door. Ironman joe is who I was referring to. I had stopped by his campground just to visit, he had his latest home built hotrod with him as well as the Jesse James chopper which in it's self is pretty cool, Im going to try to post some pics if you are interested, also this was in Louisiana. Bayou signet campground
