I know the waiting on money game. Seems like I burn at least $100 a week on mine unless someone's car needs a battery, starter, or something. And that's been going on a lot lately at my house with four cars in the driveway.
If the body's that small, the sides would be better straight up and down. I really didn't think about the room inside being at a premium. Can't wait to see it done.

It is not so much the room inside but the actual look of the vehicle. If you look at the show car the way the sides or leaning in make the roof over the front so narrow it is not practical for a driver and it looks a little cartoonish. Also they are not straight up and down, there is just the right amount of tilt in to make it look great from the back and give it some shape rather than a square box look.

I only wish I had three guy's here helping me..I would be riding today.. I picked up all the steel to do the floor at 10:oo am today.. Didn't do nothing on it yesterday.. Started on the floor at around 12:oo o'clock today.. It went together fast..

pay for my plane ticket and I'd be there in a heartbeat to be able to work on something as cool as this! I can't believe how fast you're getting through this and the craftsmanship is top notch

OK here is the thing,,,firstly I am amazed, secondly I am getting goose bumps. I just check out this thread for the first time right now. Can't say as I have poked around every post but I get the idea real fast.

Months ago Randy you was asking about building a new rod. I remember suggesting looking at a model car kit for ideas and we were all referring to plastic kits and posting shots of the real deal etc. Something about a pizza wagon

Tonight I see a new machine coming to life one post at a time with everyone digging it along the way. NI that is one heck of an accomplishment and it has a life of its own no doubt, both on the floor of the shop and on this forum.

man right from scratch,,, I don't think I could even build the wood body as such.

Hey if I buy you a skull head shifter knob can I take this machine for a spin? hahhaha

Randy you are the real deal mister, I think I better start paying attention

Mr.Bob.. Thanks... I always have a fire burning inside me for this kind of stuff.. My money just don't allow me to make them all real.. I had about three other choice's to build.. But this is the one that made me dream one night that I had already built it.. So I had to go for it.. I would Love to build Only one off cars.. Lock me in a shop. And don't let me out to you hear it running..

Thanks TJ for the kind word's.. The funny thing is..I laid the wood on the floor, And started drawing... It came to me Like I had already done it,, To tell you the truth.. The hold build is like I had already done it... Of all the cars I have ever done, This one is different.. Not really sure why yet.. But I guess when the time is right.. I will know why.... I just hope it keep moving in the right direction... I still don't know what I'm going to call It yet, Are the color's it will be..

P.S. You don't have to buy anything to drive it.. Just come over when it's done...
