OK well a skulll head shifter knob may not suit this machine anyhow...summer is coming see you then lol

Yeah sometimes a project (of any sort) can just come together with ease, more of a mind set I think and the way one perceives it mentally, but that is too cerebral for this morning lol. Rest assured though there will be days when you are cursing hammers in frustration,,, its bound to happen on a complex build such as this I would think,,,but worth every dang ounce of blood sweat and tears.

Thanks Brian.. Glade I have the chance to show my work here..

As for me and Dewey.. I will never let that come between us... I'm a very strong believer in NOT letting friends be in a competition together.. I'm not doing what I like to do, To show anyone up.. Dewey is a master at what he does... We all have to give him that.. Plus I'm a little younger then him.. So I should be a little faster... But Like I have said..I'm in no competition with anyone..Some of the people around me may think that, But I'm not,,, I JUST LOVE WHAT I DO...

And Brian.. I know you where joking..

Will have updated pictures this week sometimes... My wife took ''OUR'' camera with her to the country..Her grandmother wasn't doing real good, And was in the hospital, Well today she died... So it look's like I will be out for a while on the build... It's kind of weird,, When I built the rat truck on here, My brother-in-law passed away.. Now my wife's grandmother..

As of now with the build.. The floor is all framed up and welded, I also have the body all framed up also.. Next I will be covering the floor, And cutting out the sides and roof.. I will post as soon as I can...Randy

So sorry to hear about your wifes grandma, those times are always so hard on loved ones.

The way you are building that darn truck my bolting a fender back on the Rambler today sure doesn't seem like much.

I'm sorry to hear that Randy, my prayers are with your family. I hope the best for you and I'm glad to see you have a positive perspective about it all. We just recently had a death in the family that sent my girlfriend's 4 year old son to Washington with his father for the funeral, I can understand where you're coming from. Keep your head up

Wait till he gets back from the funeral. His wife has his camera so he has not been able to update his progress. When he does ya'll will think he worked on his project instead of going up north for a few days.I get to see it first hand.He has really got a lot more done, but I won't tell what so ya'll can be surprised. It looks great.

Not only get my ars kicked, I'd be conceding before the flagman even stepped on the strip.

We both happen to be scratch builders but as Randy says, we don't compete and we have nothing but admiration for each others work. If we lived next door to one another my guess is we'd eventually add on to our garages until they met and became just one big unit.

The way I figure it, the better and faster Randy can build his cars, the more opportunity I have to steal some of his ideas and techniques.

X2

^^^X2, Oh, Randy, About condolences, Tell your Wife that I sorry for her loss. There are many things in life that are learned from a Grandmother that you sometimes don't realize until many days after they are gone. Her words will come to you someday, when you understand something in life and remember that she was the one that put the words in your head. Nolan
