Due East

I'm about 100 miles east of ya'll. While ya'll are too far to call neighbors, that don't mean I won't come visit sometime. I believe it would make a nice trip in my '57 when I get it put back together. Randy and I have talked about it before, but as you know, you get so busy sometimes, its hard to find the time. I'm missing alot of shows and cruises because business keeps me close to the house. I will meet ya'll in person one of these days. Nolan

That would be a great visit.I am working on a 57 Chevy right now for a friend and I was born in 57.I would like to see yours. That is how Randy and I first met. He moved to Raceland from Waggaman as a Teen and bought a 57. He wanted a tilt front on it and everybody told him I was the only one that could do it in this area. This was before he knew so much about cars and fab work.We have been friends ever since.

Randy I took on some project when I was younger, but I must say nothing like this. I have seen people work fast, but you blow them out of the water. You have a vision and you stick to it, it makes me want to go to my shop and do something, I don't know if I can the way my hands are but I just might try,
Great job.

Thanks... I really hate to say it, And hope to God it doesn't happen to me.. But if my hands was cut off tomorrow.. I would still find a way to do this... I told a lot of the people that come here.. If I had no leg's, I would just drag myself all over this shop... But I already know I would build something with wheels so I could roll all over this shop.... I'M DETERMINE TO KEEP GOING !!!

Hey Randy,
I came across these pics on a TBucket site, though that you'd like them. I grew up in La., Starks and Lafayette. Lived and worked out of Morgan City for 25 yrs. Still have family and friends there, coming home for Easter
I'm in the planning stages to build a roadster pu, with a 4/6 cylinder, to pull my 1947 KenSkill teardrop camper with. Later...John T.
