building horsepower
Hi guys, i am building a 1968 ford 429 Thunderjet for my 1979 F150 4x4, the motor is bored 30 over with 11.3.to1 compression and a Bracket Master Two cam, the heads are C9VE with adjustable rockers and ported and polished. The truck has a 9 inch lift and 39 inch tires, i have had the truck for 21 years and the is still in great condition, anyways I want to try to get 800 hp or more out of it. the truck is not a daily driver and never will be. my intention are to show the truck and have fun with it and nothing more.
Is there anybody out there that can point me in the right direction to achieve the power and torqe im looking for? |

I don't see you getting there with 429 cubic inches and production heads, unless you lower the SCR and hang a blower on it.

Then you still might not make it without some NOS
