building a ifs

Hi guys ,just be thinking about ifs,s was think about the s-10 ifs, but its a little narrow and chuchy was thinking about taking all the measurement then biuld a crossmember to copy the measurements them maybe use lowered spindles and tube a arms, then either springs or air bags. any ideas. iam a machinist by trade so the fabing is know problem.

S10's are just a narrowed version of a G-body suspension. The suspension does have a few issues that could be fixed when you re-do it. The inboard upper control arm mounts are too high and you could relocate the steering box/idler to fix the bump steer.
