Building A Street Motor - Need Help!

I want to build a street motor for my 68 camaro. I now have a 350 from a 74 pick up, stock smog heads, edelbrock performer EPS manifold, comp extreme energy 262 cam, edelbrock 600 cfm carb. I just bought from a friend - GM 385 fast burn aluminum heads, speed demon 750 carb, HOT cam from the 385 crate motor, and 1.6 roller rocker & lifters. I am not sure if I am headed in the right direction and any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Also, any suggestions on what to do on the lower end of the block as far as pistons or just freshen up what I have? Thanks

Your combo looks okay, Only you can`t run the hot cam in the older generation 1 small block being it`s a factory roller cam for use in 1987 and up factory roller small blocks. I`m not real sure if there`s a conversion kit for it or not, but if there is keep in mind it won`t be cheap. I would just find a 87 and up small block with 1 piece rear seal and factory roller cam.
