I'm build a motor for my car. I have a 350 4 bolt main with steal crank dome top piston's with 0.30 thick head geskets with 300 camle hump heads . It bored .30 over with edelbrock idea to 5,500 intake ported and polished with 600 edelbrock carb. I'm putting a lanati cam 460 lift 224 duration the heads have been shaved with 2.02 and 1.60 valves with tayler distributor. I'm running a build 700r4 tranny with open 3.73 I want that pro street sound Is my set up ok. About how muck horse and troque. Any suggestions will help me ...

How much compression do you have and do you have headers?

Yes ,I have flow tech headers the compression on the piston's in the motor factory was 12.5to1. The motor can out of a 78 work truck high perf .

OK desk top dyno says 376 hp @5000 and 430 ft pounds of torque @3000. hope this helps

You need a bigger cam. I am running a 243degree at .050 and only running 10.5:1 compression because of stock heads. Mine is 12:1 domes and .470 lift

Thank's for the info man. I'm just going buy the person I got it from. I'm building a 700r4 If i run a 488 exhausat 465intake lift 224intake 234exaust duration at .050. Will i have to run a stall . I have the convertor can i have it built to where it wil ru n ok. Will any year 700r4 be ok I thank my is a yearly 90 or late 80 will it be ok.

Why are you running 12:1? Your going to have a mild motor that needs race gas....that makes no sense man. Drop your compression to 10:1 and run pump gas.
