Bump Steer
I have 1931 ford StreetRod and have Mustang 2 crossmember with southernrod upper and lower tubular cafframes and 2 inch dropped spindles, when I hit a bump or a hole in the road I get bump steer which jerks my Steering wheel, Ive had it Aligned and they didnt do a very good job so I set it up myself, Ive seen where other aftermaket mustang type cross member have where the rack and pinion bolt on extended out away from the cross member and the rack it tilted up more, on my car my tie rods are not straight with my lower afframes if I was to weld perches like they do would this take out the bump steer. Thanks Ed
