Burning oil
I have a rebuilt 283 done by a professional. After approx 2000 miles the engine is burning oil.
Curiously the plugs on passenger side are "clean" but ALL plugs on the drivers side are fouled. Anyone have any idea what was missed in the rebuild?

There are a millions things that can cause it, oil rings?!!!, stem seals, intake manifold leak, and few hundred other things. I would check the obvious first and see if the intake manifold has a leak in the lifter valley and might be sucking the oil from there.
There certainly seems to be a lot of sucking around here these days. <img src="graemlins/mwink.gif" border="0" alt="[mwink]" />

Alot of times if the rings don't seat properly, it may cause your engine to burn oil.
