bypass MSD module and only use mag pickup?

Hi
I have a MSD plug and run (8360) dissy and the module must be fried. Would it be possible to cut the mag pickup wires from the module then run them to a crane HI6 ignition using the mag pickup wire?

Msd/crane Hi6

Maybe possible, provided you mag pickup is still good and not the actual problem to begin with. Here's the HI6 wiring instructions;

I think it should work, the instructions show how to bypass a GM module so i think i should be able to do the same with the MSD. Just donít want to damage anything else while trying.
