C-3 Frame Project?

Any one on the Forums use a C-3 frame or suspension to build their custom hod rod?

I have not used a C-3 suspension in any projects that I have done. I know that you are looking for someone who has, but I thought you might benefit in knowing why I haven't. If given the option, I would install C-4 suspension over the C-3. The C-4 has better geometry, is lighter weight, has better performing brakes and steering, and even looks better in my opinion. In addition, the cost for C-4 components is reasonable in most cases. If you can utilize the composite spring, that is a bonus in weight savings too! If you use the pre-88 components, they are narrower than the later versions.

Food for thought,
Andy

I have an entire restored frame and suspension for a 1974 c-3 but I can not afford to finish the project I had intended on. I have a big block chevy and a five speed all hooked up already and was thinking of attempting to build a body for it similiar to a locost 7, but much bigger. Like a big block powered go-kart!

There are some deals to be had on C-3s why not look for one in non running condition & snatch the body off of it?
