What is a good cooler for this trans in a 31
model A coupe. It will have to mount under the
chassis.

Don"t know if this will help you or not but I have a 30 Ford coupe with a 350 eng, 350 trans. I measured the width of my radiator core and went down to the local NAPA store and bought a cooler almost the same width, I glued a rubber strip along both ends on one side and put that side against my radiator core , front side bottom ran some plastic wire ties through the cooling fins of the radiator core to hold the cooler in place. So it is mounted in front of my radiator at the bottom of the core and it is inside my grill shell behind the grill. It does a good job. David Shands......... Retired Master Mechanic
