Question c-5 problem

this project went pretty good until it came to the tranny...bought one from a junkyard...turned out it was bad..tough..warranty was already run out....had it rebuilt..not shifting right...took it back..1 week later still not right...took it back..1 week later STILL not right..had shift kit installed servo changed...etc..STILL not right..took it home today..am going to try another shop next week...by the way..it's a 90 ranger w/302..runs great once it gets through the gears...any thoughts????

I just had to do that! You need to find a REAL trany shop!Go the track and ask around.I don,t think the C5 is worth rebuiding,I may be wrong, we used C4s with little or no problems! in my ford racing days.

C5 isnt that good a tranny, use a c4...
