Hey,
I have a 327 sbc with camel hump heads. these heads obviously have no bolt holes in the heads. It is beginnign to get warm here in NC, and with dark vinyl seats its gettign pretty hot in my car. i would like to know waht woudl be the best brackets and best compressor to use to hook up teh a/c system i have. the enigne is in an s-10 blazer. So i ahve the ntire a/c system from it. But i dont; thimk its gonna be possible to miount up that compressor, so i m thinking mayhbe i coudl get liek along style compressor and some brackets off an older engine or something. or is it possible to mount up my compresssor?

Any help is grealty appreciated.

Check with Alan Grove Components, They should have brackets to fit your application. They make brackets where you do not have to have bolt holes in the front of the heads. They have brackets that use header bolts and water pump bolts etc. to mount them.

good lord..... all there stuff is liek 100 bucks a piece, and its all for the compressor i dont; have, so i would have ot get a new compressor with those brakets....... if thsi is the onl;y option, then a/c will jsut have to wait

They have brackets to fit you GM compresser if that is what you have you won"t need to get a new one. Don"t look at the fancy brackets , look at the plain ones, They have a simple bracket for less than what you are talking about. You could fab your own brackets if you have accsess to a torch, welder, and grinder. If you do not know how to use them maybe someone that you know could help you and you could learn in the process. You could also try to find the A/C brackets off of an old Chevy that had a 327 in it with the heads you are talking about. Early to mid60's should do it. Just some ideas, good luck.
