c-clip eliminators?

Just ordered my new moser axles and c-clip eliminators for my chevelle. Im assuming that a bearing is going to need to be pressed on the axles. Any slick way to do this at the house or does this need to be taken to a shop to be pressed on? If any one has installed these eliminators is it a pretty simple process? Other than cutting the tube seems pretty simple. Thanks!

Takes a press to install.
I would suggest that you look into the c-clip eliminators from Strange. They make some that are intended for everyday street driving. Most of the original designs would not hold up on the street. I dont deal with Moser much so I cant say for sure that they dont have something comparable to the Strange piece.

I had already ordered the moser's. I don't drive this car very much maybe an hour or 2 on the weekend (Not every weekend). Then to the strip here and there. Hopefully they will hold up for a bit. I guess if they give me problems I could swap over to the strange street/strip one's as long as they will fit the moser axle's. Kinda wish I would have went the strange route. Guess I'll find out!

We'll the axles and eliminators will be here monday. Has anyone had experience with installing the two. Im assuming the clutch and axle shop here in town will be able to press the eliminators on the axles. Looks pretty straight forward. As long as all the measurements are correct. Any advice would be good if there is any to offer other than the instructions. Tips/Tricks maybe? Thanks!

It's been over 30 years or since I installed a set on a (truck) 12 bolt. IIRC, the outer section of axle tube that extends past the backing plate mount needs to be cut off to within 1/4" of it's surface. Things may have changed since then and I'm sure instructions will tell you if this needs to be done...
