A/C dryer "IN" port --- In from where?

The dryer for my A/C system is marked "IN" on one of the two ports...but the directions do not tell me where it's supposed to be FROM? Would it be in from the condenser or in from the evaporator?

It leave's the condenser and goes into the drier. Vintage air has a nice drawing on it.I'm trying to get the picture.but having some trouble.
