Question C4 Trans Neutral Safety Switch

Hello to all. I am a proud new owner of a 65 Mustang Fastback. When purchasing the car, the previous owner stated that it needed a neutral safety swith installed. I have purchased the item form Mustangs Part House. However, there is one problem that I have. The part did not come with any installation aides or directions. Please help. Where can I go to get directions to install this on the car? Additionally, this switch is equipped with wires for back up lights. This vehicle that I purchased does not have them. I would not be against installing them. Did some mustangs come without back up lights? In the event that I do not purchase the back up light kit, can I still use this safety switch? Would this installation be spelled out in a mustang's owner's manual? Or would it be in the wiring manual? I appreciate any input or help that one can lend? Thanks.
Best Regards,
Beau Stang

Chiltons motor manual tells exactly how to do it, at least mine does.
