C6 tail shaft

First time user here and yes I have done a search and looked thru the knowledge base but came up empty.

My question is was there a short tail shaft (8") on these trannys on anything other than a four wheel drive.

Hope somone can help with this.

Thanks
Darin

From what I can see there are three different lengths. The Lincoln versions had 17.5" tailshafts, the trucks 7" and the most common was the passenger car version with 14.5".
