There has been several people in the past year who have done the exact same thing. If you search the posts in the electrical section you will find all you need.

CTS Seat Wiring

Here's a related link:

Electric Seat Hookup - HELP!

All Cadillac power seats since the mid 90's are quite similar in their wiring. The options, (heat, power lumbar, etc.), are the tricky parts to wire. Sometimes the switches for these options aren't on the seats, although the later years are more self-contained.

Thanks for your positive response.....I hope to find something very basic......although these seats are fully loaded and in perfect shape.......I am hoping to only wire them so I can use the seats themselves......rather than all the other bells and whistles.......

and thank you as well for your response and information....I am hoping to to be able to wire the basics of the seats.......so I can use then back and forth and up and down.....so I am thinking that hopefully the main wiring I need is......the positive and negative wires.....and surely those two wires will look after that.....I would imagine that the other 11 wires are for sensors for air bag, the heat pad, and other items.........or do you know if I am on the right track here........your thoughts please.........?

Your assumptions are basically correct. The two typically orange/black (12V power), & black (ground) wires will usually provide your basic functions. I would suggest that you ferret out the power lumbar wires as well; if the lumbar support is in the wrong position for your torso support, the seat will never be comfortable.

The process just takes time to trace out where the different wires go into the seat. I always suggest that you start with the passenger seat, as they usually have less functions (wires) to trace.

As previously stated, the former posts should give you a good start.
