Question California Fender Law Enforcement
New to hotrodding. Will have my first hot rod delivered in a few days. The Ford Hi-boy has no fenders, of course. I live in California and see lots of similar rods without fenders. I know they drive them to the shows and elsewhere.

My question: How strictly are the fender laws in California enforced for those early rods (T-buckets, Hi-boys, etc.) that don't have fenders? Should I be concerned about this? Your experience?

I intend to drive my rod a lot and not just for shows, so any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated.
