Calling all FORD techs 93' e350
I am pulling my hair out working on a 93' ford e-250 with a 4.9l (300) 6cyl. It is running like El crappolla. If you feather into the throttle slowly in neutral it will rev up,but will die if you go much past 1/4 of the way rapidly. If you try to accelerate in drive it will die. At idle it is puking black smoke. I have another good running one that I have used for test parts. I have tried the MAP sensor, the air intake temp sensor, coolant temp sensor, the tps, the fuel pressure regulator. The distributor was replaced maybe a year ago with a Motorcraft. The plugs and wires aren't very old either I think we changed them same time as the distributor. It isn't missing at idle, has a slight skip as you bring the RPM up. Sometimes it will back fire out the exhaust REALLY loud. It is an ECC-IV system. Any ideas??? and I do mean any will be appreciated.thanks Brian
