Calling all Impala experts

I need help identifying this Impala.We bought it for the 12 bolt diffy but I refuse to kill it despite the fact that it is badly rusted.Here it goes:

If my memory hasn't completely forsaken me, the '64 Impala still used the old Frontloader rearend like they started out with in '55. Not a 10 bolt or a 12 bolt. The Chevelle in '64 used the newer style, and Impalas went to it in '65.

The "64" 1ownerT listed from the VIN is the body style not the year, it's a 1969. The '55-'64 Hotchkiss differential also happens to be a 10-bolt.

I like '69s but if it's rusted bad strip what you can off it and put it out of it's misery...............

Ok guys.Well,I thought it was a '70.It came to us with a 6 cyl engine,but I believe it had a dual exhaust system at one point.The other numbers are on the firewall plate.Anyway to tell the original engine size and tranny?

You cannot tell what size engine from the body tag, it will have the body style, paint code and trim codes.
The 69's have a wrap around bumper, the 70's below the headlights and grill only.
