Depends upon what your setup currently is. Is it stock?

Define faster. More top end, low end torque, or you just want to beat that 67 Galaxie (lol).

This is great. You guys (or guy) ask the most vague question and expect a serious answer?

Are you also 12 years old? I see you and your buddy are having an argument about this: http://www.hotrodders.com/t66207.html

"I just wanted some ideas". You or 90lx, I thought he asked the question?

Give us a break. If you (or 90lx) really wanted some ideas you would have listed specific details on what you have and specifically what your goal(s) is. You have been posting pointless babble since you joined today (twice) specifically aimed at creating a stir. You start off by almost immediately calling another member an idiot. Your intentions are crystal clear and you have quickly proved you are nothing but a troll. Hopefully you'll get bored with this soon and stop messing up good technical threads.

If that is the case, you will be better served by giving as much detail as you can (or know) on your current setup and what your goal is. Changing a cam is very much dependent upon the balance of your setup. Going bigger without properly matching to your heads, induction system, transmission (stall if an automatic), and rear end gear. Being that you have a 90LX, I assume it is fuel injected. If that is the case, then that factor alone will limit your cam choices.

Get more specific, starting with the title of your thread. Do this and you will get good responses. Too vague, and it is hard to help you. There are number of Mustang and Ford guys here and changing the title to something like "Need help with choosing new cam for Mustang LX" will help grab their attention.

Ed

check out the Ford Racing E303 camshaft - should work with your computer and give you some more power.

you might want a little more stall once you start getting more radical cams...

If you don't want to pull the camshaft out, you can try 1.7 rockers with your stock cam. There was a Car Craft article where they used a stock GT engine with AFR heads and the stock cam. With the 1.7 rockers, they pulled some good hp out of that 5.0

My, quite a few posts regarding the negativity here. Why can't we all be friends, after all isn't that why we joind this forum in the first place? Get to know other people and learn something in the process? edge is right about the vague topic. If this is a personal vendetta between GalaxieRoller and 90lx, I would encourage them to settle somewhere else other than here.

That's going to very difficult considering they are one in the same. Two usernames, one troll.

This thread needs to be dumped too. Ed
