With those heads on a 383, you will be limited to around 6500 RPM which is ok, you can still make great hp, and your torque will be through the roof with the smaller runners. With out a doubt, go with the Performer RPM air gap. I have seen several tests done with this intake vs the Victor junior, on motors operating under 6500 RPM, and the RPM wins every time overall. Here is the cam that I would recommend Comp Cams XR280R (2500-6500 RPM, 242 248 dur @ .050 .570 .576 lift) This cam would work quite well.
